Covid Vaccination

“I think it’s really brilliant because my husband cannot easily get to a surgery or any centre where they’re doing the vaccinations because his mobility is so poor . They agreed that i should have my jab at home as well so it suited us perfectly . “


Dr Simona Malone and Dr Kostas Manis , GP’s with the Bexley Medical Group are currently giving their most vulnerable housebound patients their second vaccines . The Medical Group serves over 18,000 patients across it’s three sites , 160 of them housebound .
So far they have vaccinated nearly 4,500 patients , and about 93 percent of their over 80’s .
Housebound patients are given the Oxford Vaccine due to the fact that it travels well in comparison to the Phizer version .
