The Absorber line .

An Absorber for a Penlon ventilator being tested .

Airbus employees at AMRC Cymru manufacturing parts for the VentilatorChallengeUK consortium which includes corporate names including Airbus, Rolls-Royce and McLaren. The consortium has supplied 250 ventilators to hospitals, with “hundreds” to follow this week and maximum output slated for early May.
AMRC Cymru is a purpose built research and development facility close to the Airbus wing-manufacturing plant in Broughton, North Wales . 500 operators in total are working around the clock who normally work in aerospace manufacturing and are now building Absorbers and Flow meters for the Penlon Ventilator .
